Harry D. “Hersh” Cohen is a Managing Director, Senior Portfolio Manager and Chief Investment Officer for ClearBridge Advisors. Hersh has 44 years of investment experience, beginning his career with a predecessor organization in 1969 as a portfolio manager. He is best known as the manager of the Legg Mason ClearBridge Advisors Appreciation Fund for 31 years, during which the fund outperformed the S&P on a compounded basis. The fund was named to the exclusive Forbes Honor Roll eight times.
Kevin Logan is Managing Director and Chief United States Economist for
HSBC Securities, a principle line of business for HSBC Holdings plc
(NYSE:HBC), one of the world’s largest banking and financial services
organizations. In this role, he is responsible for managing the company’s North American economic research team.
Prior to joining HSBC in May 2010, Logan was Senior Market Economist for Dresdner Kleinwort Benson from 1996 to 2009, advising both domestic and international investors on economic developments that affected the fixedincome and currency markets. Earlier in his career, he held positions at Citibank, Swiss Bank Corporation and SBC’s Global Capital Markets Group.
Benjamin Ball spends his time helping management teams win pitches and communicate effectively in investor presentations. Recently he has run sessions for senior management at Statoil, Premier Oil, Linklaters, BNP Paribas, & Doughty Hanson amongst others. He has helped them with messaging,presentation performance and pitch winning workshops.
William H. Eigen III, managing director, is the head of the Absolute Return and Opportunistic Fixed Income Group at J.P. Morgan Asset Management. Prior to joining the firm in 2008, Bill headed Highbridge Capital Management's Fixed Income Group and spent 12 years at Fidelity Investments as an analyst and lead portfolio manager, where he managed approximately $10 billion across a number of multi-sector mutual funds and institutional products, including the $8 billion Fidelity Strategic Income Fund. Bill began his career in 1990 as a Group Pension Investment consultant in the Retirement and Investment Services Group at CIGNA, where he completed his tenure as a Stable Value (GIC) Investment manager, focusing specifically on the development of dedicated fixed-income portfolio management strategies. He holds a B.S. in finance from the University of Rhode Island and is a CFA charterholder. Bill has served on the Board of Directors of the Boston Security Analysts Society and is a current member of its Education Board.
Daniel K. Kingsbury is Head of our US Division, and CEO and President of Pioneer Investment Management USA Inc. Before this he was CEO of the New Markets Division of Pioneer Investments and was responsible for all activities of the group in central Europe, Asia and other new markets. He has long experience in global financial services. Prior to joining Pioneer Investments in 1999, Daniel was CEO of Renaissance Capital Asset Management, based in Moscow. From 1988-1997, he was with American International Group (AIG) in a number of different positions focusing on the development of asset management businesses internationally (Spain, Ireland, Taiwan, Philippines, Russia). He held a number of senior positions including President of AIG Capital Corp (US SEC-registered adviser) and Vice President of AIG Equity Sales Corp (NASD broker-dealer).
H. David Spegel is Global Head of Emerging Markets Strategy for ING Wholesale Banking, which he joined in New York, in 1995. Mr. Spegel and his team are currently responsible for setting the firm's outlook and forecasts for overall EM external debt and local rates markets globally. After assuming the role of External Debt Strategist in 2000, he then took on a broader role in 2003 upon moving to ING's London office, developing strategies for EM local debt. He has since returned to New York, where he maintains his current position. During his tenure, Mr. Spegel has been integrally involved in ING's new issuance and debt restructuring activities. He was the architect of ING's premier local corporate bond index (IBC-ING) for Mexico, which was adopted by the central bank to monitor domestic corporate markets. Mr. Spegel was actively involved in the 2009 ISDA negotiations that saw the standardization of Latin American and EMEA CDS conventions. He also heads the industry panels at EMTA’s annual EM corporate bond forums in New York and London.
Mark N. Fortier is Head of Product & Partner Strategy, responsible for developing and supporting AllianceBernstein’s defined contribution (DC) product solutions for plan sponsors and intermediaries. In addition, he focuses on establishing strategic partnerships and integrated solutions with recordkeepers, insurance companies, investment managers and investment consultants. Previously, Fortier was a senior portfolio manager focused on DC products for the AllianceBernstein Blend Solutions team. Prior to joining the firm in 2007, he was senior vice president and CTO for Diversified Investment Advisors, a subsidiary of AEGON, where he specialized in retirement plans for the mid-to-large market and was responsible for technology, investment solutions and participant communications. Neal is Highline Wealth Management's Founder and CEO. Prior to creating Highline, Neal served as President of both The Meltzer Group and Meltzer Wealth Management. Neal is the former Chairman and CEO of USLaw, as well as the CEO for William Kent International. Neal holds a B.A. Magna Cum Laude from Brown University in Applied Mathematics and Economics, and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago's Graduate School of Business.
Mr. Worthington oversees the investment and portfolio management teams of Hatteras Funds. Additionally, he serves on the investment committees for various investment funds including the Hatteras Alternative Mutual Funds. Prior to joining Hatteras, Mr. Worthington was a Managing Director at JPMorgan Asset Management. His previous investment management experience includes President of Undiscovered Managers, LLC, and Principal and Senior Vice President of the Burridge Group, LLC. He received his Master of Business Administration with a concentration in finance from the University of Pittsburgh and his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin. Mr. Worthington has also earned his designation as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
Based in Singapore, Gary is the Managing Director and CIO of Asia and Middle East at Coutts. Prior to joining Coutts, Gary served as CIO, Private Banking, Emirates NBD based in Dubai. to joining Emirates NBD, he was Managing Director and CIO at Merrill Lynch Global Wealth Management in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Gary's 30-year experience in wealth management includes senior positions in global financial institutions such as Barclays Wealth and JPMorgan.

Mattias Hagen began his career in the fund industry in 1998 at Skandia where he took up a position within manager research. Since 2005 he has been instrumental in the building of SEB’s third party research and multi-management business servicing the bank’s Institutional Private banking business.
Cass Sunstein is a legal scholar in the areas of constitutional law, environmental law, administrative law and law and behavioural economics. He is the Co-Author of Nudge: Improving Decisions About Health, Wealth, And Happiness which argues that restrictive regulations are less effective at shaping behaviors than gentle, low-cost signals in people's environments. Cass is the former administrator of the Office Of Information & Regulatory Affairs (OIRA), the White House agency that reviews regulations on everything from coal ash disposal to salmonella rules for eggs.
Prior to joining Nuveen Asset Management, Doll served as Chief Equity Strategist and Senior Portfolio Manager of the U.S. Large Cap Series equity team at BlackRock. His service with BlackRock dates back to 1999, including his years with Merrill Lynch Investment Managers (MLIM), which merged with BlackRock. At MLIM, he served as the President and Chief Investment Officer and Senior Portfolio Manager of the Merrill Lynch Large Cap Series Funds. Prior to joining MLIM, Mr. Doll served as the Chief Investment Officer of Oppenheimer Funds, Inc.
Robert C. Pozen is currently a Senior Lecturer at Harvard Business School and a Senior Fellow at the Brookings Institution. A former president of Fidelity and chairman of MFS Investments, and formerly a senior official at the SEC, Bob was also Secretary of Economic Affairs under Governor Mitt Romney. He’s an independent director of Medtronic, as well as a director of Nielsen and several nonprofit organizations. He’s written many op eds for the Wall Street Journal and the Washington Post, and is the author of seven books. His latest book, Extreme Productivity, was ranked #3 of 2012 business books by Fast Company. Bob graduated summa cum laude from Harvard College and holds a law degree from Yale, where he also obtained a doctorate for a book on state enterprises in Africa. He lives in Boston with his wife of 36 years.
Bill Miller, Chairman and Portfolio Manager of Legg Mason Capital Management, LLC and currently manages the Legg Mason Opportunity Trust Mutual Fund. Named Fund Manager of the Year in 1998 by Morningstar, The Greatest Money Manager of the 1990’s by Money Magazine, selected as the Fund Manager of the Decade by Morningstar.com and in 1999 was named by Barron’s to its All-Century Investment Team.
In his role, Greg is responsible for managing a global team of investment professionals charged with screening and selecting the third party money managers used throughout Wells Fargo’s HNW and UHNW channels and chairs Wells Fargo Bank’s Due Diligence Committee. Greg is also responsible for investment risk monitoring and reporting for Wells Fargo, and leads a team responsible for designing risk mitigation strategies. Finally, Greg oversees the management and delivery of Wells Fargo’s “Guided Portfolios”.
Brian Gaffney is the Chief Executive Officer of Allianz Global Investors U.S. and a member of the global Executive Committee. Previously, he was CEO of Allianz Global Investors Distributors which was responsible for retail distribution and marketing for Allianz-owned asset managers in the U.S. Prior to joining Allianz Global Investors in 2008, Brian was a Managing Director and Head of Intermediary Distribution for Lehman Asset Management / Neuberger Berman, a position he had held since 1999. In this role, he was responsible for national sales and marketing of institutional and retail mutual funds, subadvisory and managed accounts.
Barb is responsible for the development and efficient operation of rigorous business processes to facilitate the growth of the firm globally. She joined Principal in 1984, and was most recently the executive director - international investments for Principal Global Investors, with responsibility for coordinating the investment activities of Principal International.
